Cold-process soap faqs:
What's the difference between cold-process and melt & pour?
The big difference is a modern melt & pour kit is bought to save the consumer time and effort, allowing the novice soaper to avoid using lye. The time spent is much quicker and there is typically less cure time. The traditional cold-process method is a start from scratch way of crafting soap. You start with raw ingredients, mixing lye and water along with your saponified oils and fragrance to create your unique bars. You can control the ingredients used, making it vegan or palm-free, all-natural and 100% hand-crafted.
Is there anything i should be concerned about when using hand crafted soap?
The soaps are created for the best feel, moisture, lather, scent and look. However, you must check the ingredient list prior to purchase to ensure you avoid anything you may be allergic to. Keep in mind things such as pregnancy or other health concerns, as certain essential oils are not recommended. Please discontinue use if irritation occurs. These are not tear-free soaps, so avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth and other sensitive areas.
Do you do wholesale or bulk requests?
We consider all wholesale and bulk orders upon request. Depending on when the order is needed and how much is needed. Weddings, baby showers, party favors, and wholesale store displays are all considered. Please send all inquiries regarding bulk orders and wholesale prices using the contact page.
How can i make my soap last longer?
The best way to get the most out of your bar of soap is to allow it to dry after each use. Always be sure to use a soap saver, whether that is in the form of a well drained soap dish or a soap bag to hang in the shower. The main goal is to always allow the bar to dry out between uses. A properly stored bar should last over 30 days.
