A story of natural

Headwaters
Homestead

How we chose our name:

Headwaters is the upper area of where water sheds, prior to when it turns into a creek and further into a river. We live in the hills near these smaller "headwaters" and often cross them while on our hikes around our home.

Headwaters Homestead is our small business at the beginning of something amazing, a trickle into a larger stream. Making natural products that are better for our bodies and our environment drives me each and every day. That slow yet steady headwaters lifestyle translates into each and every product we make.

MEET TAYLOR

My story begins when I became a mother, first a mother of one who only wanted the absolute best for her baby. So I set out on a journey that always intrigued me, an all-natural and clean product discovery. I wanted to make everything I could, knowing what ingredients were used so that I could feel safe using them on my children. Fast forward to a mom of now two kids and I'm concerned more than ever that they are receiving the best products nature has to give. We make our own laundry soaps, dish soaps, shampoos and more. I'm pleased to share with you what we have found to be staples in our own home, the coconut oil bar soaps and  soy and bees wax candles.

As my family has done for generations, we are now providing the old fashioned, cold process bar soaps to the public. This is a handed down recipe, taught to me by my mother and I hope to one day teach my children. Thank you for following along and trying our products, from our HEADWATERS HOMESTEAD to your home.
